Canine Conditioning & Fitness

Canine Conditioning class will teach you how to move your dog through specific exercises to improve muscle mass and strength, general fitness level, endurance, coordination and balance. This class is suitable for healthy dogs of any age and will be tailored to the dogs in it. Class meets for four weeks. You must have completed Level 1 Obedience to participate in this class. Cost $135

Foundation Agility

This is a super fun class that will introduce you and your dog to the sport of agility and give you all the foundation skills you need to understand the sport. We’ll help you build handler focus, increase your communication skills, and build confidence in your dog. We’ll show you how to warm up and cool down your dog, and teach you exercises to get you both familiar with agility obstacles such as jumps, tunnels, and planks. Participating dogs need to have basic training in polite manners and must not be aggressive to other dogs or people. Manners 1 is required (or by instructor approval). Class meets for five weeks. Limit of 6 dogs per class. You must have completed Level 1 Obedience to participate in this class. Cost $180

Intermediate Agility

In our new intermediate class, we will focus on introducing new obstacles and sequences, practicing skills such as front crosses, rear crosses, blind crosses, how to indicate deceleration or acceleration on course, and developing your handling skills. Class meets for five weeks. Limit of 6 dogs per class. You must have completed Foundation Agility to participate in this class. Cost $180

Disc Dog I

If your dog likes to fetch, they might love being part of Salty Dogs Disc Club! The Disc Dogs Foundation class will cover building drive and focus with discs (or frisbees) and how to navigate the game with ease and finesse, and smoothly incorporate tricks into your games that will awe all onlookers! This class is appropriate for dogs with toy drive that are physically fit. Not suitable for reactive dogs. Manners 1 required (or by instructor approval). Class meets for five weeks, limit of 6 dogs per class. You must have completed Level 1 Obedience to participate in this class. Cost $180

Treibball

A combination of herding, agility and soccer-like skills, Treibball is a fun game for any breed, especially those with herding tendencies. Dogs learn to push large pilates-type exercise balls into a goal. It’s a great exercise and a confidence booster, and you get to practice a lot of distance work! Treibball is for all types and breeds of dogs who would like a fun job to do! Manners 1 required (or by instructor approval). Class meets for five weeks, limit of 6 dogs per class. You must have completed Level 1 Obedience to participate in this class. Cost $180

Hoopers Foundation

Would you like to have fun with your dog while building fantastic focus on you through play? In this game, you and your dog must complete flowing courses of hoops and low-impact equipment, like tunnels and barrels. Instead of the focus being on the dog and the handler’s physical ability, Hoopers focuses on building connection, cooperation and teamwork between you and your dog. This is mentally-stimulating and fun for those on both ends of the leash, and is suitable for dogs of all ages. Class will cover all the basic skills you and your dog will need to navigate a hoopers course. Class meets for five weeks, limit of 6 dogs per class. You must have completed Level 1 Obedience to participate in this class. Cost $180
