Adventure Club drop-in

Finished Manners 1 and want to work in the real world but can’t commit to a full course? Does your dog need a refresher on how to behave around crowds? Try our Adventure Club class at a drop-in level. You can come to class once, or once a month, and get a solid refresher for your dog.

Dropping in to Adventure Club class requires permission from Salty Dogs first. Please give us a call if you’d like to drop-in to a class. Cost: $25 per class.

Dog Running

Does your hyper adolescent dog need a little more of a workout than just a walk around the block? We offer one-on-one dog running (like dog walking, but faster!) for just that reason. You can rest easy knowing that your canine companion is getting the exercise she deserves to stay healthy, without having to lace up your old running shoes. Each run is with a professional dog trainer, so we are aware of your dog’s comfort level and body language throughout the run, and can provide positive reinforcement for appropriate behavior while out in public.

Each of our sessions is tailored to the individual needs and location of the dog. This includes customizing pace, distance, and location. We do not do “pack walks” so your dog(s) will have all of our attention. This service is limited to the towns of Blue Hill, Brooklin, and Sedgwick. In the Summer months, we limit our running time to before 10 am and after 6 pm. No dog should have to work in the Summer heat!

30 minute run (Average distance covered: 2 – 4 miles. Length is based on your dog’s capabilities) — $20. To add a second dog, add $5.
45 minute run (Average distance covered: 3 – 5 miles. Length is based on your dog’s capabilities) — $26. To add a second dog, add $5.

*We do provide frequency discounts, give us a call to set up a schedule that will work for you and your dog.

Adventure Days–Hikes & Trips

Adventure Days are another fun way to break up the day for your dogs who need a little more exercise. We take full advantage of the beautiful peninsula by visiting different trails, beaches, and parks. This is a great way to socialize and exercise your dog. We keep these trips small, with a group of 2 dogs for one handler, or up to 4 dogs when we have two handlers. Even better? Each group will have a professional dog trainer with them, who will help continue your dog’s training while out in the world.

Please call for more information. Adventures Days are on a first come, first served basis.
