DIY Snuffle Mat Social
Create your own dog enrichment toy! A snuffle mat is a fleece mat that allows your dog to really use their nose to seek out each piece of kibble (or other food) among the long pieces of fleece. It is an awesome way to get your dog using their brain and their amazing nose, especially during the cold winter when they need more indoor activities! You don’t have to be crafty, you just need to know how to tie a knot (trust me: if I can do it, you can do it). Invite your friends–this will be a super fun, social event with yummy snacks and dog talk.
There are two options for this workshop: to make a regular snuffle mat OR if your dog has one or if you’d like to try a different option, you can mat a snuffle ball and tug toy instead! Cost for the workshop is $35 which includes the cost of all materials. This is a workshop for humans, so leave your dogs at home while they await their new snuffle mat. Registration is required and space is limited!
Workshop is December 11th at 5:30pm held at Brown Hall in Bucksport Sign up here!
